Two...continues

‘It’s good that you didn’t come that day. Tulika hates you to the end of all limits.’ Tanay said.

Tanay and I were out for shopping. We had planned for a movie too. We were wandering in the mall to kill time. Raipur, my native place has never been a big city. There are least number of malls. Comparative to other big cities and metros, it is still developing phase and a bit boring. But still I love my place.

‘Y? What did she say?’ I asked concentrating more on the chips packet as I was least interested in Tulika.’
Tulika was my batch mate since school and due to strong bonding she even followed me to this NLU. Sarcasm definitely intended.

‘Leave it, how was Kol?’He asked.

‘Cal…remember. It is CAL’. I said.

I got this difference between KOL and CAL from Rimsha. She was always possessive and obsessive about Bengalis and I kind of hated them since there were hardly any sane Bengalis in my batch. But Rimsha was surely an exceptional case.

‘Okay…time for movie…let’s move’. And we headed to check which screen we were supposed to enter.
                                           --------*------------*------
I noticed a new status update form Oindrila ma’am.
“No1 from Holy Crist…I MISSED this time to be their super-duper seniorL”.

I commented- what’s the deal ma’am...it’s okay. We are still der. You want me to get one for you? :p

Rimsha commented- you worry for yourself…no familiar ‘junior’.

My comment- I guess I can handle the unfamiliar juniors in a better way.

Oindrilla ma’am then commented- I was hoping to get some better juniorsJ

Admissions at my institution were on the verge of packing. People need to get appropriate CLAT score to get into a NLU. Newspapers covered various stories about our institution. We were still waiting for the results. There were still some days for college to re-open. So we all planned for a trip to Pachmari.  Heaven of Central India.
                                 ------------*---------------*------------
The phone rang. In still-in-sleep mode I kicked Tanay. It was his phone. He picked it up and answered. “Yeah, baby! What’s the time? Oh...Baby...Yeah…will get ready...Love U.  Bye.” Followed by many kisses. I just wondered that how is it possible to so attentively and romantically attend your girlfriend’s call when you still want to catch up some sleep. Is it true…Everything is possible in love!...well whatever, Tanay kicked me saying, “uth kaminey…jana hai”.

We were at sunrise point. Many of our batch-mates had accompanied. It was a pleasant weather…Pachmari being a hill-station. Suddenly, the beauty and the beast approached me. Beauty- Prakriti Kapoor and beast- Dennis Daniel. Prakriti had notified in the beginning of the first year that she was in a long-distance relationship with some guy. But there were hot rumors about Prakriti and Dennis dating each other.  I always had better reasons to hate Dennis as he was a better looking guy but not much talented than me. Both Prakriti and Daniel were my best competitors in some or other way.  Prakriti was the superb combination of beauty and intelligence. She was the best looking girl of our batch and a handful of guys had hots on her, including me.
I wondered what for these guys were here.

‘Hey, Vyom…How are you?’ Prakriti asked being flirtatious.

‘Huh? I am good’. I spoke irritably to make the conversation as short as possible.

‘There is a moot competition upcoming by Amity Delhi…You going?’ This time it was Dennis.

‘Does my participation really matter so much? Well…yeah, I’ll be participating. What about you guys?’ I asked.

‘Umm…We too are planning to participate. If you are interested to join me and Dennis for this moot…we will be unstoppable. Do think about it.’ Prakriti said.

‘Why don’t you both ask Rimsha?’ I questioned them.

‘She already has some better plans and overall you are sort of best researcher in our batch’. Dennis complimented me.

‘Sort of?’ I said in offence.

Suddenly everyone parroted about the sunrise. It was such an enthralling and blissful moment. I cherished it and loved it. It looked like someone had just popped up an orange ball from between the cleavage of two mountains. Rimsha came and sat next to me. She placed her arm on my shoulder and spoke, “look Vyom, isn’t it looks so beautiful!” I looked her and said, “Yeah!”
